Benefits of working out

Working out has a lot of benefits besides feeling good about one self. Doing regular exercise can also help increase ones self esteem, when looking at the progress in the mirror. But because changing your body is a marathon and not a sprint, sudden changes might not be visible to you, if you look at yourself every day - so here's a list of the some of the other benefits that you might not know:

  • Reduce the risk of heart diseases. Regular exercise strengthens your heart and cardio vascularity. The increased blood flow raises the oxygen levels in your body which helps lower the risk of high cholesterol and heart attacks.
  • When working out your body releases chemicals such as dopamine, which helps improve your mood and helps with psychological diseases such as stress and depression.
  • Regular exercise can lower the risk of erectile dysfunction for men and because of the increased blood flow, this helps men achieve a stronger erection. For both sexes, regular exercise may also increase sexual arousal.
  • Regular exercise can help manage blood sugar and insulin levels. This helps with metabolic diseases and type 2 diabetes. If you already have one of those, exercise can help manage that.
  • Studies shows that physical activity such as doing regular exercises can reduce the risk of dying early from diseases such as heart attack and some cancer forms. When doing regular exercise your body gets stronger and more tolerant to stress and we are not only talking about your muscles
